"FIRST OF ALL THE ART IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! It touches on a subject not many people talk about having to deal with grief or loss, even a lot of adults don't deal with grief in a healthy way, so teaching it to the next generation at a young age is important." - Jodie K
"I am very pleased with the author of the book for taking the time to sign the book for my son. My son loved reading the book and then we sat down to talk about fears. Since there are so many moments in our life with scary situations. This was a learning moment for both of us. Thank you Caren and Marina!" - Deli N
"The book is so colorful and beautiful. The drawings are great and the readability is perfect for young minds. The story has a way of helping kids to learn confidence and self-esteem without making it feel teachy. This is the second book from Caren Sollod and another top notch children's book, looking forward to the next book!" - Cameron A

"The Day That Oliver Went Away, not only lets children know that it is alright to talk about their emotions, but it also allows children to understand the importance of holding onto memories and allows them to recapture them through their imagination. Mrs. Sollod understands the true meaning of losing someone special for even pets are part of our families and should not be forgotten once the are gone, as displayed by her words and the illustrations." Barbara S
"This is a really sweet children's book about kindness and treating others well. The message is simple, but important, and it is explained in a way that younger kids can actually understand. It is a great book for pre-school and early elementary ages. I love books that teach empathy and good social behaviors. It's Nice to be Nice teaches that in a really positive way. The illustrations are bright and engaging, and the story makes it easy to talk to kids about kindness and how our actions affect others.
Overall, a great book about kindness and it would make a great bedtime story or classroom read for anyone trying to reinforce empathy and social emotional learning." Mike
"This book is absolutely perfect for 3-5 . Both of my daughters love love this book. My 3 year old loves the bear and all of the colors and has a better understanding that she is not the only child that feels scared. She didn't know that other children get scared too.
My 5 year old says that her favorite part of the book is that Boo has a broken arm like she did and got a cast just like her. It gives her more confidence and comfort to know that she can see someone else in a book with a broken arm. She said this is the first book that she saw with a kid like her (but a bear) with a broken arm." Jacqueline W
